"Mustang Sallee"
1/6 scale / Private Commission
This is a 1/6 scale replica based on the P-51D Mustang flown by Cpt. Richard Turner
(aka "Short-Fuse Sallee") in the European Theatre of World War II. This replica was built using
balsa and plywoods, augmented by functioning hand brazed brass components, then coated with fiberglass and marine
resin, and finished with hand-lain metal foils and custom graphics.
